Modroc is the generic name for Plaster of Paris modeling bandage. This is high quality standard medical quality rolls, not off-cuts. Our Modroc has high plaster content, giving the smoothest/creamiest finish. This fine gauze material, impregnated with fast drying plaster, is a quick and easy way to create large structures which are light but strong. They have a 5-year shelf life when stored correctly because each roll is individually sealed. Application: 1. PRIME ModRoc Plaster of Paris bandage has used for fixation of all kinds of bone fractures, orthopedic plastic and surgical operation. 2. PRIME ModRoc ideal for young children to model with and is much easier to handle. It is ideal for creating casts or molding shapes, the Plaster of Paris bandage used for a wide range of modeling activities including mask making, landscapes, scenery and sculptures. Models then can be painted. It is ideal for use in the home and a fabulous resource for child-minders and pre-schools. Note for general instruction, the bandages are easy to use, dip in water, shake off excess and apply immediately smoothing out air pockets whilst pressing and molding to the required shape. Several layers may be required. The bandage sets quickly and models are generally hard enough to handle after few minutes and hard setting in an hour.
